Ingredients

    pounds of canned yams

  • 3

    cups brown sugar

  • 3

    cinnamon sticks

  • 1

    cup butter

  • 1

    cup cornstarch

  • 1

    bag large marshmallows

Directions

Pre heat oven to 325 degrees. Drain yams and put into pan. Save half of the juice. To the saved juice add brown sugar, cinnamon and butter. Bring to a boil. Add 1 cup of corn starch. Bake for 25 minutes. Add one bag of large marshmallows and return to oven until marshmallows are brown, about 1 minute.
