Ingredients
- Olive oil spray
- 3/4 lb leanest ground beef
- 2 low or nonfat burgers (don't add this)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb mushrooms, chopped
- 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 28oz can chopped tomatoes
- 1 28oz can tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried leaf oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1 Tbsp fresh Italian parsley or 2 Tbsp dried parsley
- 1 Tbsp Nature's Seasonings
- 1 beef bouillon cube, dissolved in 1 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Spray large pot with olive oil and brown beef, draining fat off. Add burgers, breaking them up as they cook. Remove meat/burger mixture. Add onions, garlic and mushrooms and sweat until limp. Add remaining ingredients and meat/burger mixture. Simmer 45 minutes to 1 hour, adding water if sauce becomes to thick.
