  • 1 kg of tomatoes
  • 500 g of carrots
  • 1 kg of bell peppers (red and yellow)
  • 3 large onions
  • 8 cloves of garlic
  • 5 cans skinned tomatoes (400 x 5)
  • 2 liters of broth
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of basil
  • 4 tbsp of oregano
  • 4 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of garlic salt
  • 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
  • 3 tsp of sugar

Chop tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppers and grate the carrots on a grater. Get it all in a pan with olive oil. Let it cook for 10 minutes, while you stir. Get the skinned tomatoes in with the broth and then the spices. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes. Get the soup in a blender or use a hand blender. Then taste if the soup needs a little extra spice.

Hak tomater, løg, hvidløg, peberfrugter og riv gulerødderne på et rivejern. Kom det hele i en gryde med olivenolien. Lad det stege i 10 minutter, i mens du rører rundt. Kom så de flået tomater i sammen med bouillonen. Kom krydderierne i. Lad det simre i 30 minutter. Kom så suppen i en blender eller brug en stavblender. Smag så om suppen mangler lidt ekstra krydderier.
