Ingredients

  • Mix On Plate:
  • 2 tsp. English mustard powder
  • a little paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • Mix all together. Dredge steaks in mixture & rub it into the steaks.
  • Mix:
  • I tbsp. English mustard
  • 2 tbsp. Ketchup
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. White wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • I tsp. paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Brush 4 - 6-8 oz. steaks with some of the deviled glaze during cooking. (Chef used thin steaks maybe 1 in. or less). Barbecue over med.-hot coals, turning & basting with more glaze (turn 3 or 4 times).
