Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups uncooked pasta
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken cut up into bite size pieces
- 1 package sliced mushrooms
- 3/4 cup pasta sauce
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- 1 tub light herb and garlic cooking crème
- 1/2 cup 4 cheese italiano shredded cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 375. Cook pasta according to directions
2. Heat skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat. Add chicken and mushrooms cook until chicken is no longer pink.
3. Stir in pasta sauce, tomatoes, and basil. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes or until chicken is done. Add cooking cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
4. Drain pasta. Add to chicken mixture and mix lightly. Spoon into 2 L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.
5. Bake 20 minutes or until heated through. Top with cheese and bake for 5 minutes or until melted.
