Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin seak
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 c chopped celery
- 1 c shopped onion
- 1 c chopped tomato
- 1/2 tsp celery salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp oil or butter
- 6 tbsp flour
- 6 c beef broth

Preparation
Step 1
Trim and cut sirloin into cubes. Brown in skillet with a bit of oil. Add ground beef and continue to saute until browned well. Meanwhile, in large sauce pan, saute veggies. Add meat and seasonings to veggies. Make a roux in skillet with oil or butter and flour, stirring until brown. Slowly pour in 1/2 of the beef broth. Pour this over the meat and veggies. Add remainder of broth. Add Kitchen Bouquet to darken, if necessary. Bring to boil, cover, and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
