Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1/2 Cup Ketchup
- 4 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- Meatloaf:
- 1 Pound Ground Beef, 80/20 grind
- 1 Slice White Bread, torn into very small pieced
- 1 Egg
- 3 Tablespoons Onion, finely chopped
- 3 Tablespoons Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons Milk
- Salt and fresh ground Black Pepper, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl combine sauce Ingredients, mixing well, and set aside.
In another mixing bowl combine all meatloaf Ingredients. Using your hands, mix well.
Form into a loaf and place Ground Beef mixture in a loaf baking pan. Smooth the top and spoon sauce mixture over the top. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 55 to 60 minutes.
Remove from oven, allow to cool for about 5 minutes, and drain the drippings and grease.
Use a spatula and careful remove the meat from the loaf pan. Allow to cool an additional 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes: 1. The drippings drained and grease drained from the loaf pan can be used to make gravy.
2. Leftover meatloaf makes great cold meatloaf sandwiches.
