Tuna Cheese Swirls

Ingredients

  • 1 can tuna (12.5 oz)
  • 1 c frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 1/4 c chicken broth (or hot water and 2 bullion)
  • 1/2 c cooked rice
  • 1 1/2 c Quick Mix
  • 1/3 c milk
  • 1 c shredded cheddar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425. Butter a 2 quart casserole. Combine tuna, peas, broth, and rice in medium bowl. Pour into a buttered casserole dish.

In a small bowl, combine Quick Mix and milk. On a lightly floured surface, knead 10-12 times. Roll out to a 6x10 rectangle. Sprinkle with cheese and roll up lengthwise. Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place on top of casserole and bake 15-20 minutes, until biscuits are golden brown.
