Aunt Lela’s Maryland Crab Cakes

Ingredients
- 1 lb crabmeat
- 1 tsp. old bay seasoning
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbps. worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbps. parsley - chopped
- 1 Tbps. baking powder
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 slices bread, crusts removed (3, if thin slices)
- milk
Preparation
Step 1
1. Remove any shells or fat from crab
2. Cut bread into cubes.
3. Place bread in large bowl. Moisten bread cubes with milk. Add remaining ingredients - mix gently.
4. Shape crab mixture into cakes.
5. Fry quickly at 350 degrees until brown.
Serve with lemon and cocktail sauce
