  • 1 1/2 cups Country Crock Simply Delicious
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Cardamom
  • 3 – 3 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • Decorative Sugars

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375° F. In a large bowl, beat Country Crock with an electric mixer on medium to high speed for 30 seconds. Add sugar and baking powder; beat until combined, scraping bowl occasionally. Beat in egg, vanilla and cardamom until combined. Beat in as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Using a wooden spoon, stir in any remaining flour until it reached desired consistency. Do not chill dough.

2. Pack dough into a cookie press. Force dough through press onto an ungreased cookie sheet. If desired, decorate with decorative sugars. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges of cookies are firm but not brown. Transfer to a wire rack; cool. Makes about 72 cookies.

TIP:I added a dash of cardamom to my cookie dough, but I think it also tastes great with a bit of lemon zest
