Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 3 celery ribs, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cans diced tomatoes, with green peppers and onion
- 2 cans 16 oz each kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can beef broth
- 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
- 2 tbs brown sugar
- 2 tbs chili powder
- 1 tbs worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- Cheddar Cheese optional

Step 1
Coos sausage and ground beef in lrg saucepan over med heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Cook and stir for 5 mins or until tender. Stir in tomatoes, beans, broth, tomato paste, brown sugar, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, cumin and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 mins.
