Ingredients

  • Seasoned to taste:
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 large sweet onion
  • 2 large cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2 chili seasoning packets
  • 1 large box chicken broth, or 2-3 large cans
  • 2 cans baked beans
  • 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • brown sugar
  • chili powder
  • season salt
  • pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Chop onion, add into pan with oil to cook. Add ground beef and 1 chili packet, brown beef. Add season salt & pepper.

2. Pour in crushed tomatoes and baked beans. Add 2nd chili seasoning packet and stir.

3. Add in brown sugar, season salt, chili powder and pepper to taste. I prefer mine a little sweet. Add a little red pepper if you want to add a kick.

4. Serve with cornbread, honey butter, shredded cheese and sour cream. (honey butter: mix butter and honey)
