Country Butterscotch Yams

  • 8 (14oz) yams, peeled, cut into 1/2in slices and boiled
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup half and half
  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon



Step 1

Arrange yams in an ungreased 13x9 baking pan; bake at 325 for 15min. Combine remaining ingredients in a 2qt saucepan; boil 5min, stirring constantly. Pour over yams; bake 15 more minutes, basting often. Serves 6.
