Snow Balls (ingrid)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. butter, softened
  • 1 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup ground pecans
  • 2 TBS sugar
  • Confectioners' sugar

Preparation

Step 1


Heat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, cream all ingredients until incorporated.

Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll balls about 1 inch in diameter. Place on ungreased cooking sheets and bake 11 minutes or until just starting to brown.

While cookies are still hot, roll in confectioners' sugar. Store in a tin dusted with more confectioners' sugar.

For Christmas make 10 batches yielding apx. 350
