Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 12 c. chicken broth
- 27 oz. green chiles
- 1 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. crushed red chiles
- 1 c. pork in small cubes (optional)
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions in butter. Add stock, spices, green chiles, and pork. Simmer at least 20 minutes.
Thicken with the flour and cornstarch.
