- Batter from 2-layer chocolate cake mix
- Chocolate Chip Filling (below)

Step 1
To make each cupcake, measure about 1 tablespoon batter into paper liner. Cover with 2 teaspoons filling. Top with 1 more tablespoon of batter.
Microwave cupcakes using chart below. As cupcakes cook, filling will form in center.
Chocolate Chip Filling: Stir together 1 pkg. (8-oz softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1/8 teaspoon salt, until well mixed. Blend in 1 pkg. (6-oz) miniature chocolate chips.

Fill paper liners only half full. When cooking several cupcakes you may notice some will be done before others. If so, remove those that are done and continue cooking the rest a few seconds more.
