Rice with noodles

Ingredients

  • 14 oz. Minute White Rice
  • 1 Pkg.( 1lb.) fine egg noodles
  • 4 cans Campbells Beef Consomme
  • 2-3 green peppers
  • 1-2 sticks of butter (I use the 2 sticks)

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pot put cans of beef consomme with approx. 3/4 cans of water for each.
Cut peppers in strips (not to thin)
Put pepper strips in with beef consomme and water bring to a boil.
While that is heating up fry the egg noodles in 1 - 2 sticks of butter (stay with the noodles so they don't burn).
When the consomme, peppers come to a boil- check the peppers for softness - you don't want them too soft, they will soften more when put together.
When peppers are done add the noodles and box of rice
Stir, cover and remove from heat, You're done!
