Truffle filling (for cake)

Decadent and delicious filling for cakes or cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 4 cups chocolate chips (see note)
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 cups 10X Powdered Sugar, sifted
  • Note: Use milk chocolate, semi-sweet, white, or whatever flavor chips suits your fancy.

Preparation

Step 1

Beat the cream cheese until smooth and no lumps remain. Melt the chips and butter together in the microwave on high for one minute. Stir. Microwave additional 15 sec intervals if needed, stirring well. Beat this mixture into the cream cheese. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and beat well.
