Apple Cinnamon Monkey Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 - 17.5 oz cans Pillsbury Grands Flake Supreme Cinnamon Rolls with icing
  • 1 medium tart apple or pear, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 c butter (melted)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350. Grease 12 cup fluted tube cake pan with shortening or spray.
Separate each can of dough into 5 rolls, cut in quarters.
Set aside icing.
Mix sugar and cinnamon.
Add 1/4 c sugar mix to apples and toss to coat. Sprinkle half the apples in the pan.
Roll half the dough pieces in sugar. Place on apples.
Sprinkle remaining apples in pain, roll remaining dough in sugar and place on apples.
Pour melted butter on top.

Bake 40-45 minutes, cool 10 minutes and run knife around edge of pan to loosen.
Turn over on plate and cool 10 minutes longer.
Drizzle reserved icing over top of bread.
