  • 9 " Unbaked Pie Shell
  • 1 Can (1 lb. 5 oz.) Cherry Pie Filling
  • 12 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Prepare pie shell. Spread half of cherry pie filling in bottom of crust. Set the rest of the pie filling aside. Bake pie crust for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, in a small bowl beat cream cheese with sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over hot cherry pie filling in crust and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Filling will be slightly soft in center. Cool completely on wire rack. To serve, spoon sour cream around edges of pie and fill center with remaining cherry pie filling.
