Ingredients
- 6-8 drops liquid food coloring
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup distilled vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
1 Single color dyed egg: dip into dye, drying on rack. Wipe up excess dye from bottom of eggs when lifting from rack
2 Designer eggs: Dye an egg is a base colr. Use cayon or masking tape to appy designs to the egg. Re-dye the egg. Remove take when the egg is dry to reveal a subtle pattern.
3 Banded Egg: Wrap rubber bands at assorted sizes around an egg and dry it. Remove rubber bands when egg is dry.
4 Marbled Eggs: Stir one to three teaspoons canola oil into dye and dip an egg in the dye several times. The oil will repel the dye in spots, creating a marbled effect. Wipe off excessive oil when the egg is dry.
