Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs beef sirloin steak about 1" thick
- 1 lrg red onion, sliced into 1/2" thick rings
- 2 lrg zucchini or yellow squash, cut diagonally into 3/4" thick slices
- 1/2 c BBQ sauce
- 1 tbs chili powder
- 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
- 2 tbs unsalted butter, at room temp
- 2 tbs finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon zest

Step 1
Combine steak, onion and zucchini in lrg bowl. Add BBQ sauce, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, 1/2 tsp salt and pepper to taste; toss to coat. Let stand 5 mins. Meanwhile, mash the butter with the parsley, lemon zest and pinch of salt in small bowl; set aside. Transfer the steak to the grill and cook 4-5 mins per side for med rare; remove to cutting board and let rest. Add the vegetables to the grill and cook turning occasionally, until crisp-tender and charred in spots, about 8 mins. Cut the steak into 4 pieces. Top each piece with some of the lemon-herb butter. Serve with vegetables
