Bread Pudding with Makers Mark Bourbon Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 gallon milk
- 8 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 to 3 quarts cubed white bread
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1 Tsp cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2-6 tbs Maker's Mark Bourbon

Preparation
Step 1
1 Whisk sugar into milk until dissolved. Add eggs and vanilla stir. Place bread in mixture and let soak several hours or overnight.
2 Pour into an 9" x 11" pan. Sprinkle with raisins and cinnamon and use spoon to push them into mixture. Bake at 250 degrees for an hour to an hour-and-a-half until firm and golden brown.
3 Allow to cool before cutting or topping with bourbon sauce.
4 To make sauce: Soften butter to room temperature and mix with powdered sugar using electric mixer until smooth. Add bourbon to sauce to taste - should be an icing consistency. Ladle sauce over warm bread pudding.
