Mel's Turkey Chili

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey breast
- 1 lg onion (diced)
- 1 jalapeno (diced)
- lg Garlic (diced)
- 1/4 green bell pepper (diced)
- 1/4 red bell pepper (diced)
- 1 can hot Rotel
- red pepper flakes
- cayenne pepper
- chili powder
- ancho chili pepper
- garlic salt
- hot taco seasoning
- Cheddar cheese and green onions

Preparation
Step 1
Brown turkey meat. Add taco seasoning, blend well, then add a small amount of water. Cook down until water is absorved into turkey meat. Remove meat from pan.
In same pan, saute onions and garlic. Add red pepper flakes. When onions are starting to soften add bell peppers, chili powders, and ceyenne pepper. Return turkey meat to pan and stir in can of Rotel. Add 2 cups of chicken stock and bring to a boil, stirring to thoroughly combine. Then, add garlic salt and simmer with lid slightly covering top of pan until it begins to thicken, about 30 minutes. Then add flour to reach desired thickness.
Top with cheddar cheese and green onions. Enjoy!
