Asparagus (Pan Fried)

Ingredients

  • 2 TBS butter
  • 1 lb asparagus (bottoms trimmed)
  • Kosher Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Other spices (if wanted)
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds (optional)
  • 1/3 Parmesan cheese (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

In large skillet, melt butter over medium high heat. Add asparagus. Season how you want. Cook while stirring (for even cooking) for 10 - 15 minutes, or until asparagus are fork tender.

* (Optional) Stir in almonds and cheese. Cook until cheese is slightly browned.
