Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 3/4 cup flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 2 tbsp. milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 egg
• sugar
• 48 Reeses peanut butter cups

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, shortening, peanut butter, milk, vanilla and egg and mix with electric mixer on low speed until dough stiffens

Shape dough into 1 inch balls, roll in sugar and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Immediately top each cookie with peanut butter cup by pressing down firmly until cookie cracks around the edges. Remove from cookie sheet to cool.
