Ingredients

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 6 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 egg white, slightly whipped
  • sprinkles

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Combine flour and baking soda. Set aside.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolk and vanilla. Mix until incorporated. In batches, mix in flour/baking soda. Add chocolate chips. Dough will be crumbly.

Form into tsp size balls. Dip one side into egg white, then sprinkles.

Place on an non-greased cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 minutes.
