White / Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 TBS corn starch
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine corn starch and milk. Stir until smooth. Add butter, salt, and pepper. Simmer over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

For cheese sauce:
Stir in 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese at end. Stir until melted.
