  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen pastry shells
  • Seafood
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup sliced 1/4-inch fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen deveined cocktail size raw shrimp, thawed and drained
  • 1 (6 ounce) package frozen crab, thawed and drained
  • Sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup white wine or apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Step 1

Have patty shells ready. In 2-quart saucepan melt 1/4 cup butter. Stir in mushrooms, green onions, and shrimp. Cook over medium heat until seafood is tender (4-6 minutes). Stir in crab. Pour seafood in a medioum bowl; set aside.

In same saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter Stir in flour until smooth and bubbly (1 minute). Stir in all remaining sauce ingredients. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil (4-6 minutes). Stir in seafood mixture. Continue cooking until seafood is heated through (4-5 minutes). To serve, pour 3/4 cup creamed seafood into each patty shell.
