  • 1/2 Cup Shortening
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 Cup Pumpkin
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Tsp Soda
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1/3 Cup Chopped Nuts
  • 1/2 Cup Chopped Dates

Step 1

Cream shortening, sugar add eggs & pumpkin.
Sift together dry ingredients and alternate with milk.
Add nuts & dates
Bake 9"x12"@ 375 degrees
