    tbsp dark cocoa powder

    oz dark chocolate- chopped

    sticks butter, cut in pieces

  • 1

    tsp espresso powder

  • 1.5

    cups sugar

  • 1/2

    cup brown sugar

  • 5

    eggs

  • 2

    tsp vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 9x13 inch pan with butter or baking spray and parchment paper. Whisk together flour, salt and cocoa powder in a bowl. Melt chocolate, butter pieces and espresso powder in a double boiler, or on medium heat in the microwave. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat, add both sugars. Whisk until smooth and mixture reaches room temperature. Add 3 eggs, whisk well, then add 2 eggs and vanilla. Stir well to combine. Sprinkle flour mixture over wet mix, fold together until no flour is showing. Do not over mix or brownies will be too chewy. Pour into prepared pan, bake for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
