Cheddar Crackers

  • 1/2 stick cold butter
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 Tbsp water

Preparation

Step 1

Pulse 1/2 stick cold butter, 1 cup each grated sharp cheddar and flour, 1/2 teaspoon each kosher salt and paprika, and a pinch of cayenne in a food processor until crumbly. Add 2 tablespoons water and pulse until the dough clumps together; form into a 9-inch log, wrap in plastic and chill 1 hour. Slice 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 375 degrees F until golden, about 20 minutes.
