Ingredients
- Ginger Simple Syrup:
- 2 1/2 oz Gin
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz Ginger Simple Syrup (recipe follows)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons fresh grated ginger
Preparation
Step 1
In a small saucepan, bring sugar and water to a
boil. Add grated ginger and reduce heat to a simmer. Stir until sugar dissolves
and ginger infuses the syrup. About 3 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to
cool before using.
Directions
for the cocktail:
Pour
Gin,
lemon juice and ginger simple syrup into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice
cubes. Shake well
