Pour 1 cup cold water in pot and place trivet in. Place 4-8 scrubbed potatoes in cooker. Be sure to prick them with a fork first. Make sure the potatoes are not touching the water or they will get mushy. Cook for 13 mins for medium potatoes. If potatoes are large, add additional cooking time. Allow pressure to release naturally for 8-10 mins and then turn valve to release any remaining pressure. (I believe I allowed all the pressure to release naturally when I made these and it took about 15 mins.) They were cooked perfectly.
