Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. round steak 1/2-in. thick, tenderized or pounded with meat mallet
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 medium onion, sliced thin
- 1 can (14 1/2-oz.) tomatoes

Step 1
Cut meat in 6 pieces, then coat with mixture of flour, salt and pepper. Place in 3-qt. casserole. Cover with onion. Break up tomatoes with fork and pour over top. Cover. Microwave at Medium (5) 65 to 75 Minutes.
Swiss Style Cube Steak: Substitute 1/2-lb. cube steaks, 1/2-in. thick (about 6), for round steak. Cut in half, if desired.
