Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Lime
  • 7 Lbs. Cucumbers
  • 2 Gal. Water
  • 2 Qts. Apple cider vinegar
  • 4.5 Lbs. Sugar
  • 1 Table Spoon Salt
  • pickling spice

Step 1


Soak cucumber slices 24 hours in lime water.

Rinse 3 times in cold water.

Soak 3 hours in ice water.

Combine
2 Qts. Apple cider vinegar
4.5 Lbs. Sugar
1 Table Spoon Salt

Soak cucumbers overnight in vinegar mixture.

Add pickling spice

Boil 30 minutes.

Put in jars hot.
