Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 C butter softened
  • 3 C sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 C flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 8 oz can sour cream
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Beat butter at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating until blended after each. Combine flour, salt, baking soda add to butter mixture alternately with sour cream beginning and ending with flour mixture. Beat at low speed until blended. Stir in vanilla. Spoon batter into pan.

Bake 325 degrees F 1 hour 20 minutes
