Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 6 eggs
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups cake flour
- Frosting:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 8 cups confectioner’s sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup milk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
For the cake, place butter and cream cheese in a large bowl. Blend until smooth.
Beat in eggs one at a time. Add in vanilla, sugar and cake flour and beat until smooth. Pour batter into a greased temp-tations fluted tube pan.
Bake for 90 - 120 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the top comes out clean. Cool completely before removing from baker.
For the frosting, place butter in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Pour in all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Add more milk if necessary.
Remove cooled cake from baker and cover with frosting.
