Christmas Confetti Bars

By

To make these yummy and festive bars happen, you need Pillsbury Holiday Funfetti Cake Mix and Holiday Funfetti Frosting — the frosting comes with sprinkles, so you’re covered! I actually used two cans of Pillsbury Funfetti frosting — a can of Rudolph Red Frosting to frost the bars, and a can of green for melting and drizzling over the top. That step is up to you! If you just wanna go with one color of frosting, it all tastes the same in the end, and they’ll still be adorable.

Ingredients

  • 1 15.25 oz box Pillsbury Holiday Funfetti Cake Mix
  • 1 small box (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 or 2 cans Pillsbury Holiday Funfetti frosting

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Spray bottom only of an 8x8 pan with cooking spray and set aside.
In the bowl of your mixer, beat cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, and oil until a dough forms. Press the dough evenly into the bottom of your pan.
Bake for about 15 minutes or so -- until the edges are barely golden and the bars are puffy and firm on top. Remove from oven and let cool completely on wire rack.
Frost bars and sprinkle with included sprinkles. If using TWO frostings, frost bars and chill for about 30 minutes. Remove lid and foil from second can of frosting and microwave for about 15-20 seconds, until pourable but still a bit thick. Drizzle over frosted bars, then top with additional sprinkles.
