Chocolate Mint Pie

  • 1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp mint extract (or peppermint extract)
  • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 (8 oz) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

in a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and mint until smooth. add cocoa and milk and mix well. fold in whipped topping. pour into pie shell. freeze for 8 hours or overnight. you can garnish it with chocolate curls, chocolate chips, or mint candy. serve directly out of the freezer. it should not be thawed before serving.
