CHEESE & BACON DIP

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon, finely chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp horseradish
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped green onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon until crisp, thoroughly drain on a paper towel. In a small slow cooker (maximum 3 1/2 quart), combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, horseradish, green onion, garlic, Cheddar cheese and bacon. Season to taste with pepper. Stir well. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Stir again and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, until hot and bubbly. Serve immediately or set temperature to low or warm until ready to serve.
