Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 6 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tablespoon cocoa if you want chocolate icing
Preparation
Step 1
Cook milk and flour until very thick--3 to 4 minutes (so thick you can't stir), COOL COMPLETELY.
Cream butter, sugar and cocoa (if using cocoa) until very creamy Add milk and flour mixture and vanilla. Beat until thick and creamy (about 4 or 5 minutes).
