Sauerkraut Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 (14.5 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 lb. fresh or smoked sausage, sliced
  • Optional ingredients: 1 Medium onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.

Cover and cook on low 4-6 hours, or until the flavors have blended and the soup is thoroughly heated.
