Ingredients
- Marinade:
- 6 Chicken Breast (boneless, skinless)
- 1/2 C Tequilla
- 4 TBLS Sugar
- 4 TBLS Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 tsp Fresh Lime Zest
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt
- 2 to 4 Jalapeno Chiles (seeded, chopped)
- Garnish:
- Lime wedges and chopped cilantro.
Preparation
Step 1
Combine ingredients for marinade in a small bowl. Place chicken breasts into a rectangular glass baking dish and pour marinade over the top of the chicken. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Take chicken out of refrigerator 15 minutes before grilling. Preheat grill to med/high. Grill chicken until fork tender and juices run clear, turning once.
To prepare in oven:
Place chicken and marinade in a baking dish, cover and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until chicken internal temperature is 160 degrees.
