Desserts: Persimmon Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2 cups squeezed persimmons (from about 2 quarts of ripe fruit)
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/3 t nutmeg
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Mix persimmons, sugar, eggs, butter and milk
Blend in flour and add spices and baking soda
Pour into a greased pan and bake for 45 minutes to an hour at 350 degrees
Remove from oven and serve warm
