Preparation

Step 1

1) Fill a pot or sauce pan with water to boil.

2) Add the frozen chicken breasts and butter. Salt and pepper to taste.

3) Cover with lid and set on medium heat. Let water come to a boil.

4) When water is boiling chicken should be cooked through. Leave whole, slice, or shred to desired size and put back into the pot.

5) Add bag of your favorite pasta to the pot.

6) Leave uncovered and cook based on directions on pasta packaging.

7) When pasta is cooked through drain the water and put pasta back into the pot.

8) Add in your favorite pasta sauce to taste.

9) Set stove to medium-low heat, stirring frequently, to heat sauce.

10) When sauce is sufficiently heated, turn off heat and serve.

Optional

This dish can be turned into a pasta bake! In order to do this skip steps 9 and 10 and instead:

9) Pour pasta into a 13x9 casserole pan.

10) Cover completely with the shredded cheese.

11) Put pan in oven that was pre-heated to 350 degrees.

12) Cook for 10 minutes or until cheese is sufficiently melted.

13) Remove from oven and serve.
