Pork Chop Potato Casserole


A great meat and potato oven casserole.

  • 6 pork chops
  • 6 potatoes, sliced
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 C milk
  • 1 half C onion, chopped
  • butter


Servings 6


Step 1

Rub pork chops with salt and pepper. Melt butter in electric skillet and brown pork chops lightly on both sides. Remove from skillet. Cook onion until transparent. Remove. Put peeled and sliced potatoes in skillet, arrange chops on top. Blend the cooked onions, mushroom soup and milk. Pour over the chops. Cover. If using an electric skillet, set at 250° for 30-40 minutes. If using the oven, bake at 275° for 1-1/2 hours.
