Ingredients
- 1 pound Great Northern beans, soaked
- 3 to 4 cups water
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste

DO-AHEAD TIP: Soak tomorrow's beans overnight.
Soak beans overnight. Drain beans and discard soaking water. Put beans into a slow cooker. Cover beans with water. Add onion, marmalade, brown sugar, mustard, rosemary, salt and pepper. Stir
beans to blend ingredients. Cover and cook on low heat setting for about 8 hours, or until beans are tender.
SERVING SUGGESTION: Grilled cheese sandwiches and a spinach salad.
