Baked Spagetti

Ingredients

  • 1-lb ground beef
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 glove garlic
  • 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 oz of cooked spaghetti
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 8 oz pkg mozzarella sliced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan (fresh) cheese grated

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Brown ground beef, onion & Garlic in large skillet until browned, drained. Stir in sauce, water and oregano and basil. Bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. In a separate bowl, mix eggs and cottage cheese.
4. Spread a thin layer of sauce mix in a sprayed 13 x 9 inch pan.
Layer ½ spaghetti, then ½ cottage cheese mixture, sauce and mozz
Repeat. Top with Parmesan cheese. Bake 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.
