Strawberry Pretzel Surprise

Ingredients

• CRUST:
• 2 c crushed pretzels (4 cups uncrushed)
• 6 Tbsp butter
• 3 Tbsp sugar
• FILLING & TOPPING:
• 8 oz cream cheese
• 1 c sugar
• 10 oz ctn whipped topping
• 2 - 3.9 oz pkg strawberry jello
• 2 c boiling water
• 16 oz strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350.

CRUST:
1. Mix pretzels, butter, and sugar.
2. Grease 9x13 inch pan.
3. Pat pretzel mix in bottom of pan.
4. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Cool.

FILLING & TOPPING:
1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
2. Fold in whipped topping.
3. Spread on cooled crust.
4. In a large bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water.
5. Stir in strawberries.
6. Place over large bowl of ice water and stir until mix thickens.
7. Spoon strawberry mix over cream cheese mixture.
8. Refrigerate for 4 hours.
